Why are we fun?

While sharing our message of unity and international friendship is central to our mission, having fun is a major part of what makes the Krewe of Europa special. Parades and cultural celebrations are the heart of our organization, and they give our members the opportunity to experience traditions, music, costumes, and festivities from around the world.

We carefully select and apply for parades and events that support the communities we serve and align with our mission of cultural exchange and celebration. As a Tampa, Florida-based krewe, we proudly participate in local traditions and area parades, while also traveling across the United States and overseas to represent Tampa and connect with communities internationally.

One month we may be marching through the streets of Florida, and the next we could be participating in a historic European carnival or festival. The friendships, travel experiences, and unforgettable moments created along the way are what make Europa more than just a krewe — it is a global family and adventure unlike any other.

Giving to Charity

Giving back to the community is an important part of the mission of the Krewe of Europa. Each year, the Board researches charitable organizations that best align with our core values and vision of unity, cultural connection, and community support.

Once a charity is selected, our foundation works directly with the organization to establish engagement opportunities, support initiatives, and identify ways our members can make a meaningful impact. Through fundraising efforts, volunteerism, and awareness, Europa strives to ensure that our activities not only celebrate culture and tradition, but also help strengthen the communities we serve both locally and internationally.
