Dover 400th

Dover is a dynamic city that has it all: thriving businesses, expanding arts and cultural scene, a wide selection of dining establishments, a notable history, a strong sense of community, and beautiful scenery.

The tradition continues

Supporting important dates in US History

Dover is the oldest continuous settlement in New Hampshire and the seventh oldest in the United States. The permanent settlement occurred in what is now the Dover Neck area. For a few years Dover was an independent colony named Northam. In 1692 Northam became part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

The Krewe of Europa brings history to the parade routes of the globe with our period correct, colorful costumes and parade float. The krewe has been invited to participte in this 400th birthday celebration of Dover .

Do we need to purchase the full land package to appear in the parade?

No, however, the room block is limited to those participating in the full weekend. Also transfers from Boston to Dover are required and the fee is $150 pp from Boston and includes lunch and parade fees.
